Hey all, trying to get a good collaborative effort on finding some of the best places to snap some really good pictures of our cars...anywhere including nature, building backdrops, skylines, etc...thought some of you would have some good secret spots that you wouldn't mind sharing so the rest of us could venture out and capture our Mini's in action.
I'm from the westcoast, so anywhere around the South Coast for myself...but feel free to post good spots anywhere.
I recently tried going to Central City in Surrey, it's a fairly new office tower that has been retrofitted onto the exisiting Surrey Place Mall. Now I know you're all probably thinking..."Surrey?!" but the building is an EXCELLENT backdrop. Go to the following link to get an idea of how amazing this building is.

The only problem there, being you can't really park your car close enough to the actual building to get a really good shot...Other places we tried...were anywhere along Stanley Park...Granville Island overlooking the Burrard Street Bridge...Coal Harbour...most of these places however have horrible lighting, if any...making it really difficult to take good pictures. Oh I'm mainly talking about night shots by the way. Anywho, if you have good ideas, post them!

you trid Burrard Bridge at night? like turning on hazard light and just park right beside the side walk....

btw, for daytime shots, London Landing near Steveston is GREAT!
