Offline | Nice photos indeed! I've tried taking some night photos of my MINI, but none of them have come out as nice as yours! I guess that I'll have to keep trying! ![]() |

Offline | That is on a long exposure where the shutter is kept open all throughout your drive. The camera captures everything over, say 15 seconds into 1 picture hence you get the desired "snaking" effect. |

| MINI2 Regular | Awesome! I need to get some night shots of my mini. So you need to do anything lighting wise or just leave it on 15sec shutter? Cheers Team Mooby. Faster than a bowl of chicken soup. http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/26082/58480.jpg Pics in the gallery. |

Offline | Put your camera on a tripod when taking stills at dusk, as you will not be able to hold the camera still enough with a shutter speed of anything less than 0.125 of a second, and your image WILL be blurred!! The exposure also needs to be adjusted, perhaps to '2 over'. You can make that effect with the lights by altering the flash as well, I think it is 2nd Curtain or something! There is a link on MINI2 somewhere for photography advise! The results are great once you get the hang of it, especially with a sunset! ![]() Waits for the photography experts to come out of the woodwork...... ![]() |
