Japan Heading to Tokyo...

Hello all...

I'm heading off to Tokyo next week (well 15th Nov) for a about 10 days on business. I've never been to Japan and risk ending up in meeting rooms for several days and not take in some of thie city, granted I will be busy, but what are some must sees / dos in and around the Tokyo Dome Hotel or within a short subway ride.

I've read about Koshikawa Park, right next door to the hotel which sounds wonderful, especially in late November, but any other thoughts??

I'll be in Tokyo on the 18th and then onto the Nagoya area for 2 weeks for business. I've been to Tokyo about 10 times. I haven't been to the Dome area, but it looks like plenty to do at the Dome City. You can get around town very easily & quickly by subway or train. There is tons to see, it depends on what you want to see. Temples, modern architecture, tall buildings, electronics shopping, food, museums, etc.

It turns out I'm going to be busier than I thought, and will probably be confined to the Dome area. I am heading down to Shizuoka near Mt Fuji on a bullet train as part of my meetings, so I will see a bit more, but in a business context. Oh well I'll be back a couple of times next year.

Thanks for the wikitravel link.
