AUX Input cable - MINI Cooper Forum

Anyone has their AUX Input cable installed in your MINI? I called up BMW to ask about that part but the guy said BMW didn't carry that part in Hong Kong.

I recently ordered my MCS and my "motoring advisor" said that there was no part number for the Aux. input.

That's wierd, I thought.

I'm not sure in Hong Kong, but they have part number in the US, if you need the part number, I can fine it for you.

I think I have the part number. GMINI3 gave it to me.
He said it was 82 11 0 153 367.

Thanks guys, I ordered the AUX cable for BMW 3 series and it fits on my MINI. I asked the installation price for that cable from MINI Service Hong Kong, but they can't quota me a price since it is not a standard part for MINI. Anyway, I installed the AUX cable by myself. I took out both driver side and passenger side parcel shelves and plug the cable into the slot on the left corner. Now, I can listen MP3 from my iPAQ. So cool.

Is it easy to install ? How long you take to install the cable ?

It tooks me around 30 mins to remove both parcel shelves. It just take 15 secs to plug the cable if you know where the slot is.
