Any south island New Zealand Mini people out there?
I'm in Christchurch and it's pretty 'tumleweed' Mini wise here so I'd love to hear from anyone who's in the area.

Hi Speedy,

Though I'm not in NZ. But I am sure that South Island is a perfect place to make the best out of your Mini. I spent 2 weeks in driving around the island 5 years ago. I started from Greymouth, and then the glaciers, Bunedin and then Christchurch. Really love that.

Well ar, you are right, it's incredible out here, the roads, the scenery, the lack of traffic. I often go for 1000km drives for the hell of it and that road from Greymouth going south just gets better the further you go. What I'd like is a fellow Mini nut to share it with.

I'm not in the South Island, but every Cantabrian's favourite place - Auckland!!!! Will be down in Chch in Sept for a week or so, but not with the MINI unfortunately. Will also be there Labour Weekend 05 for the National Mini Meet, so get your MINI along to that. Hope you find others down your way - why don't you join the Canterbury Mini Owners Club. I'm sure they'll welcome you. Hope to see you in '05. Go the Crusaders!
