I had one fabricated at the plant, I just can't remember where I kept it. Hmmmmm. I'll look for it, I'm sure its just lying aorund somewhere.

i think so.... coz i just went to a shop that sells hi-end imported cars and inquired about their last unit JCW MCS... and they told that they have already sold 2 JCW MCS, the price, about $46,430. but i thought, it's quite expensive so i chose an ordinary MCS...

What's this shop called and where is it?

yup... but M3's here in the Philippines costs around $89,200 in BMW dealers... as for the JCW, it's located here in Manila, a shop called Greenhills Autohaus...

Hey guys, am new here, and have been looking for other MC owners to touch base.
Has anyone suggested an EB to get to know other owners and perhaps look at cars?

\Maybe we can eventually form the MC Registry under the BMW Car Club of the Philippines and be recognized as a legit group, do fun drives, and exchange notes on the use of our cars.
Am based in Ortigas area but frequent the Eastwood vicinity and The Fort.

Guys, the local BMW Car Club has an EB at The Fort McDo on Saturday, the 17th July, 7AM - Mini owners are welcome, I have a Mini too.

Just look for me in an MC CVT, black, white bonnet stripes or BMW 523i blue, with 18" ACS, #8 plate, or PM me for my mobile.

A lot of Bimmer club members are eager to get their own MCSs so it might be good to get to know future MCS owners. The members are all cool guys so no need to be shy, you will enjoy their company.

PM me your contact numbers so I can ID you when you get there. We normally park at the elevated parking area, the approach is a little steep so take it easy.

Sounds good, do you guys just hang around or go for a drive? Till what time do you stay there? What I really want to do is go for a good drive, I know a nice piece of road we can go to and it's not that known to other people so there won't be a lot of cars. We can have breakfast at the hotel/resort on top and then head back.

The EB on the 17th is just a short meet up until about 9AM. This is for new members to get familiar with the club and its activities, over breakfast.
The FUN RUNS are normally to Tagaytay (breakfast at Antonios) or to some other nice place to drive (Evercrest Batangas or Kawayan Cove), and are a bit more organized, with maps and convoy rules. One is being planned soon to Lipa but an invite just came in for a trip to Sta. Elena on the 25th, so we might discuss that this Saturday also.
LONG RUNS are to places like Baguio over a wekeend and is planned a bit longer in advance.

Where is this place you recommend JohnD? Maybe we can suggest it to the group if we announce it early enough. Some new members are eager to run na as we had an EB at The Fort also 2 weeks ago.

Have not really heard of something like that happening in a meet...maybe the bad guys think our cars are faster than theirs and that they will not be able to get away with driving one without soliciting a chase...

If anyone's interested, I'm selling my stock 17" S-lites with almost new Dunlop runflats. I took them out and replaced them with regular tires to lessen the jarring ride. I will put them back on if anyone gets them. Just send me an email or a PM. My add is john85dee@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Hahaha. Those damn run flats must be harsh on Manila roads, too many potholes!

Finally I found one.

Have been following the thread.......and if you guys will plan any EB, I want to join.....at least for starters. I know there is a mini-cooper club of the Philippines, and this has been a long standing group which includes Austins'. Mostly enthusiasts who rebuild the old classics, but for the New Mini's, i have not heard of any........I'm all the way from the south, but will be willing to join you guys. I have another friend who has a liquid yellow minicooper, sporting TWEETY plates.. I have a Chilly Red S.

It sure would be nice to get together. Breakfast and Photo op......that's also another hobby.
