hi there,
I have a lovely silver mini cooper here in England - but thinking of moving over to Sweden.
Is there anyone out there, had experience buying over there - apparently their packages are different.?

You should really post this in the Europe region rather than rest of the world. Most Sweden specific activity happens there.

Anyway I'm a Cooper owner living in Sweden (ex-pat) and can probably help. I think the basics specs and packages are the same but one thing that is standard in Sweden is heated seats!!!

There are three packages for the Cooper (and different ones for the One and S). These are Curry, Chili and Pepper. Curry is a prerequisite for Chili and Pepper. You cannot order Chili and Pepper together. So they consist of (basically):

Curry - ASC+T, CD player, electric warmed mirrors, trip computer, alarm, leather sports wheel, air-conditioning (manual), Radio Boost.

Pepper - chrome line exterior, fog lights, velour floor mats, height adjustable passenger seat, Cooper S steering wheel.

Chili - Pepper plus spoiler, 16" 5-star wheels, sports seats, mixed cloth/leather seats, xenon lights.

Maybe some other bits but I'm just trying to do a quick translation.
