Australia OZ MC owners...about clutch

Hi guys

I think it's time for my clutch to go..has any1 got to this point yet?
What price tag am i looking at for a set of clutch fitted?
Is it cheaper to get aftermarket ones?

The SACHS kit on eBay for the MC is around $150USD plus freight and other stuff. I don't think there's too many aftermarket stuff out there but labour might be a bit of a killer. Maybe get a lightweight flywheel too since you're ripping the gearbox out.

When you replace a clutch its recommnded to machine the flywheel. Now as the MINI has a dual mass flywheel its not possible to machine (or so Ive been told).

No idea about clutch but stock flywheel is around A$1000

2002 BRG MCS with more mods than can remember The thieves choice in race cars
2005 BEP MCS stock standard and staying that way

I think it's only the MCS that has the dual mass flywheel. The MC has a standard clutch and therefore does not need a dual mass flywheel - that's my understanding but I could be wrong
