| MINI2 Regular | MCS front grille price in Melbourne I just got a quote from my dealer for a pair of MCS bonnet grille for my MC...the top part is $75 and the bottom $55 un-painted (only the slats, surrounding not included)...does this sound over priced? can any1 recommend where I can get them cheaper? |

| Boy who made the wolf cry | What happened to your old one? I used to have the Aero one (which would look nuts on your car!) I paid $72 for the top and $36 for the bottom, but the bottom was quite an efffor to fit so I decided against it. Todd PROJECT POLARIS - Die Wiedergeburt eines kultautos |

Offline | It ties in with the lower grille well. On the darker ones I think some the effect would be lost a bit but it is always worth a go... Also I saw you have the IPod holder, did you go the AUX or ICE way? |

| MINI2 Regular | thanks for your opinions nothing happen to my old grille...I was planning to get aero grille...but from what i've heard...the bottom part needs modification and I'm not too good at modifying things...so i decided not to get them...my second alternative is the MCS grille.. I got a quote from my panel beater to paint my factory grille....primer and paint set me back abt $50 (grille, top and bottom, taken out)...but if he is to take out the grilles (which means he has to take the bumper off etc etc) sets me back abt $130-140 now...my question is...what are the advantages and disadvantages of painting my stock mc grilles?what about of getting mcs grille, since they also need to be painted? how difficult is it to take off the front bumper? |
