Australia MCS front grille price in Melbourne

I just got a quote from my dealer for a pair of MCS bonnet grille for my MC...the top part is $75 and the bottom $55 un-painted (only the slats, surrounding not included)...does this sound over priced?

can any1 recommend where I can get them cheaper?

doesn't sound all that bad to me, though I did think they came painted.... maybe you could find someone who has fitted the aero kit and see if they wanted to sell their old parts.

What happened to your old one?

I used to have the Aero one (which would look nuts on your car!)

I paid $72 for the top and $36 for the bottom, but the bottom was quite an efffor to fit so I decided against it.

I got the areo gille's on the MCS, the bottom bit took some cutting but got it on in the end... Looks sweet.

just had a look at your gallery, that looks SWEET.
I love the aero grill on standard bumper on cars where it contrasts with the paint.
don't think it would look anywhere near as good on my car (though I would like the smooth '05 surrounds....)

It ties in with the lower grille well. On the darker ones I think some the effect would be lost a bit but it is always worth a go... Also I saw you have the IPod holder, did you go the AUX or ICE way?

thanks for your opinions

nothing happen to my old grille...I was planning to get aero grille...but from what i've heard...the bottom part needs modification and I'm not too good at modifying things...so i decided not to get them...my second alternative is the MCS grille..

I got a quote from my panel beater to paint my factory grille....primer and paint set me back abt $50 (grille, top and bottom, taken out)...but if he is to take out the grilles (which means he has to take the bumper off etc etc) sets me back abt $130-140

now...my question is...what are the advantages and disadvantages of painting my stock mc grilles?what about of getting mcs grille, since they also need to be painted?

how difficult is it to take off the front bumper?
