yes, the car is basically done, we are waiting on a new crank sensor so we can start it.

It has been cranked and everything else is working. I hope to get back to the shop on Monday morning and get to "cranking"......

You will get a start-up video and some dyno pulls as soon as I can get my schedule in order. It has been brutally busy . I just finished up some custom parts for the regular mini's and have to test those also.

I'm beginning to hate this job as well , having to dyno the car all the time test parts that you thought worked and dont come up with new ideas etc.etc.

Have you ever known a standard ecu rev limit to be at 7200 I'm wondering if its been slowly moving itself due to hitting it so much in the burnout

He have a job he's been off for 2 weeks after having a head on with a fork lift, needless to say that the forklift come off better than Tom (several stiches in knee) and his old skool 14.2 sec Renault 5 turbo

I am curious on the bottom end of this great looking car. Where the connecting rods and ect. swapped out during this project and if so what ones did you go with? From what I know the Fireballed team has the bottom end of their motor stock. I just assumed on this car everything from the original motor is pretty much changed out with something a little stronger.

Yes everything is re-done. The connecting rods now have 3/8" BOLTS!!! That's big block chevy size with 7/16" heads cold rolled to 220,000psi. These are custom rods made especially for this stroked engine. Let's put it this way, there isn't much in this bottom half of the engine with a BMW part number

Next thing I want to add for next yr is a dry sump system. Anyone have a supplier for Mini's?
