Custom Headers For R53

Here are some pictures of our custom designed headers for multiple applications

This is the most advanced header for the Mini Cooper R53
we have designed a header for the flow of a stock head and the JCW head

We have also designed a special collector for our Big Valve cylinder head and are finishing up the custom header for our 2.0L Stroker engine

We do NOT have a 1 size fits all mentality and by looking at our dyno charts you can see the long drawn out torque curve that is exclusive to our headers Longer torque curve = faster times and

All of our headers come with the highest quality V-band connector available.... NO LEAKING HERE! As you can see the quality of the welds are like artwork. Made from the highest quality 304 stainless steel and mandrel bent piping so there are no welds to break. Each pipe is equal in length for the best possible scavaging. Take a look inside our collector and compare it to the competitions.

Thank you for looking at our products, we take great pride in bringing you the best for your Mini as you deserve the best!

yes, we always run cats on our cars. We have a custom center section to allow fitment and can be modified to fit your current catback at the Y section

everything is V-banded for ease of installation and no leak operation....

Have you removed your janspeed manifold then? What have you replaced it with?

I plan on getting some sound clips up soon. We are trying to get some cars ready for a magazine shoot and track day. The full exhaust with custom header is $2150 and comes with V-bands

so the cost of header/cat only is 1k + i guess a lot of clients will only want the front end...
just otherwise there will be soon far too many second hand cat back millteks in the classifieds.
if you make people buy the whole kit and your plan of world domination comes off

Flex Joint

G'day Jan,

Beautifully made exhaust system. There seems to be a bellows just before the cat, is this the flex joint? If so, does having the flex joint so far from the motor cause any problems with excess movement of the exhaust?

Cheers

Darrin,
you are correct that is the flex joint, it is the only place to put the joint where it does its work
we used a racing bellows as these are the only types that don't break. Its 304 stainless with a 304 stainless liner in it.

With the collector and cat being further back than usual are new pre/post cat oxygen sensors required?
