I think everyone there was shocked that the fastest car on the track the entire day was a MINI

I ran the car with stock GP intercooler and made 261whp and 232ft lbs of torque but it had my exhaust on the car. I just finished up a custom "shorty" header which will bolt up to any catback.

We had a GP just run it with our head/cam/injectors/tune and made 253whp

Jan, any chance you can get a dB metre about a foot away from your exhaust at 4k and 4.5k RPM to see how loud it is please?

I would love to know if this could run on track days over here, as we often have a dB limit between 95dB and 105dB.

Be interesting to see this on a car in the UK... I think young Bhozar might now be running this as he has always been interested and has been keeping very quiet about what bits he had arrive from America when ThinkMINI were working on his loverly new Ellie.

This is nothing to do with the tuners cold war... just Bhozar being quiet before the Showdown (he and I have a little friendly rivalry going with our cars... and he has just gone and spend a wad of cash on something which he wont disclose to me in case I try something to beat him at showdown )

Plus this is a kit I like the look of when my engine eventually pops... so i'd love to see and hear it in action in the UK for a upclose look before i invest my small amounts of cash in it.
