I think Jan just remaps your own map, but I will wait for Jan to explain more

is is 100% custom RMW map

each car is different and we map the car accordingly. We start with our own special base map depending upon what mods you have. We have custom mapped more cars on the dyno than anyone we know of. Each car gets it's own custom tunes.... not canned tunes that other tuners do. Our cars set the fastest lap times at the track so we know our mapping works.

The key is getting the a/f and timing ratio correct or the car has one fast lap and that's it....

Here is a link to my times at the track. Obviously the lap times at the bottom are the warm up laps. Look how consistent the lap times are. I have 5 total track days as a road racer.

This is what a well tuned car laps like on the track

try this link:
Speed Ventures - Results

click on my time and it will take you to each lap ran

well im sold,if i was to get it custom tuned, and at a later date & decide to switch from a 15% pulley to a 17% pulley, would i need to pay top whack for another tune???
and do you keep a copy of the standard map and would it be easy to pop back on the car

No it's just a $55 upgrade as long as I don't have to get up a 2am

Re: mapping

Hi,

I have an 05 JCW Auto.
Would it be possible to adjust the mapping of the box in the auto mode to give best MPG and a different map for sport mode & manual mode giving max performance and torque.
Or would this require three new maps.

yours
Chris

there is no way to put 3 different maps on our stock ECU currently

Most people see mileage improvements from the tune once they stop mashing the pedal all of the time for the new found power
We are still working on the tranny part. We have been so busy that I haven't had time to map it.

hey jan, do you reckon you can map my car? it's at 1320autos at the moment - it's got a 19% pulley and it's running 20psi boost. the IATs are reaching 65c on the road, and the car's AFR is leaning out. it's running 380cc injectors which i thought would be enough. power on the dyno was 230bhp and 180 lb/ft torque. do you reckon you can do something about it? i'd like to keep the 19% pulley.
car has a stage 2 head, miltek manifold/cat back. jcw air box, GRS intercooler.(the above is with a gp intercooler;car will be dyno'd again with the GRS), 380cc injectors, lightened flywheel. will you be able to map with those boost readings and IATs?
i'm hoping you can weave some RMW magic!

since you have a ported head on the car 440cc injectors are a must

okay, i won't need an uprated fuel pressure regulator as well? some people have said that because of the linear relationship between fuel pressure and boost you need one - do you think i would at 20 psi?

people use AFPR's because they don't actually tune the maps themselves
if you scale the injectors properly you won't have that issue
