Offline | I think you just have to book in @1320 autos and make sure Chris and Jan are available. Try and make it for about 2:00pm UK time otherwise Jan has to stay up until early hours as I found out when Jan was mapping my car @1:00am US time ![]() Can't complain with customer service like that ![]() Stock Cooper S @270+BHP 13.7@103.9www.minitorque.com ULTIMATE BMW SHOW 21st Sept 2008- Santa Pod Raceway |

Offline | After the clutch is bedded in and I save up a few pennies Chris is gonna get a call in regards to the this. How does it work on a car with a standard head? Also what about fuel consumption, mines running a bit rich and I get between 20 and 25mpg as it is, couldn't afford it being any worse than that... imagine putting 2 and a half gallons in and it it costing $30 lol... thats currently what it's like ![]() |

Offline | Yes thats what "turned the RMW head on" and as you seen @SRR day it made very good power and torque in that heat!! ![]() ![]() 1320 normally just charge you one dyno run per map that Jan does. So the more you want the map tweaking the more you pay but it still works out cheaper than say a bluefin map and you know it will be right for your car as it is a custom tune ![]() Stock Cooper S @270+BHP 13.7@103.9www.minitorque.com ULTIMATE BMW SHOW 21st Sept 2008- Santa Pod Raceway |

Offline | I think Jan just remaps your own map, but I will wait for Jan to explain more ![]() Stock Cooper S @270+BHP 13.7@103.9www.minitorque.com ULTIMATE BMW SHOW 21st Sept 2008- Santa Pod Raceway |

Online | is is 100% custom RMW map ![]() each car is different and we map the car accordingly. We start with our own special base map depending upon what mods you have. We have custom mapped more cars on the dyno than anyone we know of. Each car gets it's own custom tunes.... not canned tunes that other tuners do. Our cars set the fastest lap times at the track so we know our mapping works. The key is getting the a/f and timing ratio correct or the car has one fast lap and that's it.... Here is a link to my times at the track. Obviously the lap times at the bottom are the warm up laps. Look how consistent the lap times are. I have 5 total track days as a road racer. This is what a well tuned car laps like on the track ![]() try this link: Speed Ventures - Results click on my time and it will take you to each lap ran Manufacturer and Custom Mini Tuning Last edited by Revolution Mini Works : Jun 15th, 2008 at 03:53 PM.
