Hey Everyone,

Reading through this thin thread has gotten me rethinking my Roadtrip Schedule. CO is BEAUTIFUL and I would love to motor through, but I'm going to need some enthusiasm and a list of more than 10 eager MINI owner's who would like to enjoy a Saturday Event!

Here's something I posted in the National Threads.

Ladies and Gentlemen....

Set your Regional Calendars for the 2 weeks between Oct 24th and November 8th 2003.

Here we go... It's an AMAZING undertaking, but I think you will enjoy this. All of *our* (Mine and the SECRET VENDOR) hard work should pay off for YOU!

If you did not already know, I'm Doug... Team MightyMiniZ...

and My Secret Vendor AKA Trip Sponsor... will remain a SECRET until ONE month before departure... So Stay tuned.

Dates and Locations.... Plan accordingly. If we do not hit your location... drive to the one nearest you. If you are in a Mini Club and we are heading your way, send me an email with a location suggestion. We would like regional club involvement, for them to plan a "special event" in which we can be part of.

Oct 24th - Depart Los Angeles - Lunch in Vegas - Leave Vegas - ROCKET to Denver.

Oct 25th - Big Day in Denver! All Local Mini Owner's, Organizations and Enthusiasts are encouraged to meet us there ( Denver Location unknown but I will consider any Suggestions, especially since it's been over 20 years since I've been there!) After this day of fun, we are off to CHICAGO!

Oct 26th - Big Day in Chicago! All Midwest Mini's are invited! We will close our day as we take of to Detroit. Short Hop. If you want to motor with us, you're more than welcome to!

Oct 27th - DETROIT this will be an evening meet considering it's on a Monday.

Oct 28th and 29th - NYC We Are planing to spend 2 days in the NYC area... We ideally would like to make the NYC stop a sort of Iconic Drive. Any Suggestions? I know that (SECRET VENDOR) would like to hit manhattan.

Oct 30 - Pittsburg Is this a Big Venue Area? We'll see. We are looking for a meeting location there... as all locations, suggestions please!

Oct 31 - HALLOWEEN! - DC/VA Area - This is the group that has been MOST vocal about this trip. We are hoping for a GRAND HALLOWEEN RUN/PARTY! C'mon DC MINI's Start planning!

Nov 1 -2 - MIAMI - As with any and every location, you are all encouraged to make the trip south with us! And we do need a Miami resident to consider planning a location for this.

Nov 3 - New Orleans - As with all Weekday Meets, it will be an evening meet! Suggestions for the Big Easy?

Nov 4 - DALLAS - We know there are some very enthusiastic people in Texas, so show us your Texas Pride.

Nov 5 - ROAD On our way to SEMA in Las Vegas

Nov 6 - 7 - Las Vegas - SEMA

Nov 8 - We may consider an extra day in Vegas for the South Western Mini's - then we're off to HOME in Los Angeles to Plan for the Next BIG Event nearly a Week Later!

More Details

We are hoping to connect with all the MINI groups in these respective cities who can help us by organizing their own event in which we can participate, show off and givedeep discounts on product or even give some away!

It's a TIGHT Schedule and we have tried to map the best route to include some of the State's bigger Clubs!

We will be launching a Dedicated Website to Track our Trip with a daily Log, photos, and a special POST TRIP Contest, where ONE prize, the grand prize, is worth about $5000!

Oh Yea, I almost forgot.... Our Trip is the focus of a Documentary... and so are the MEETS.
