Hello,

Hope I can tap into the forums vast experience!!

How much should I expect to sell my Mini Cooper S, Aug 2003, 03 reg for to a dealer in a straight cash sell (no trade in)?

Main options in spec include full leather and Chilli pack and its DS. Whats the going rate? Does it vary around the country? Should I sell privately - would I get alot more?

i aint a pro but its common knowleadge that a dealer is gonna offer you about 1500-2k less than the actual car- relistically there their to make money they need to make an easy 1k at least..

selling it privately would be the best option but the only thing is you have to wait for a buyer- if you aint stuck for money and want an instant sale..the dealers the best option

You dont say what you mileage is but I have a july 03 MCS with Chilli and a lot of other extras and I have been offered between £14.5 and £15.5 from traders.
