Broken Key Fob Plastic ?

anyone experienced the silver plastic on the keyfob shattering and falling apart ?
mine's just done it, i might go into BMW and complain as I dont expect it to happen after 8 months of general use.

Its not happened to my key fob yet, but when I had a courtesy car from the dealer I noticed the silver around the edge of the key fob was cracked. Looks like it could be a bit of a weak design.

I've had my brand new Mini for five days and the silver has cracked already - yesterday in fact!!!! Have spoken to the dealer who are going to "get back me". Loving the car so far but this is not impressive from a quality control point of view..............
