Unhappy Seat sliding too far..

Ok, when I slide the passenger seat forward to allow access to the back seats it comes forward, when I slide it back it travels all the way until the seat is touching the backseat with no clearance. This nearly resulted in me shearing off my girlfriends ankles, it doesn't do it on the driverside, on the driverside it seems to halt at the setting from using the bar at the front.

The seat doesn't slide about once it's put upright it locks into place, and it can be adjusted using the bar no problem, it's just when it's folding forward that it seems to roll all the way along much to the distress of my backseat passengers.

Any ideas?

do a search for memory seats - there was a thread about this. It's a simple case of pushing a small silver block into the seat rails and all will be fine after this. - have a look

remember to use the adjusting bar at the front to set the seat position, and not the shoulder lever. THe memory seats will work after that
