DIY Sticky pads for tailgate stops

Has any one got a new mini that has good clear sticky pads in the hatch aperture for the tailgate stops?
Every on I've seen has these moving, screwing up or coming off. The previous model had good quality quite thick paint protectors, these new ones are thinner than tissue paper. Dealers dont seem to know what to do about them..........

Following on from the many posts on the other thread. When i picked my new car up i adjusted these as one was way different to the other. Tailgate shuts fine, aligns fine and doesn't rattle. 80 miles and 3 weeks later and the stickers haven't moved one bit.

I think you need to make sure the bungs are adjusted correctly to ensure the stickers are fine.

Edit: I mean the Dealers should make sure they're adjusted correctly.

I think that Steeve means something different than you two other guys think and the reason is that he has a fresh new mini (like mine, which is 5 days old). On these ones the sticky pads are cheap, transparent ,very thin and they really seem as if they will go off in a few days (and I doubt if they really protect the paint.)

May be another cost cut as in the door sealing strips...

Mine's still fresh at only 3 weeks old and i was referring to it when new and now.
