alarm problems

hello guys

my alarm on my 05 cooper seems to be playing up!!!! its only the second fault weve had with the car!!!!!!

right. on my drive the mini wont arm or disarm the alarm/central locking using the keyfob.
called mini and they said it will prob just require a simple re programmed but my GF noticed the problem only seems to occur on my driveway

once its off the drive the keyfob works perfectly. its been almost 3 years fault free and its really bugging and confusing me. the alarm is a factory fit mini cat 1

anyone else experience this problem??

after 3 years could be the keyfob battery needing replaced?

do you have a spare keyfob to try ?

Have you got electric gates or a remote controlled garage door?
