Dash Rattle On Acceleration.

Hi everybody,

My brother says that he has a rattle in his dashboard during acceleration, and the rattle moves a long the dash.

Does anybody know what it could be?

Thanks
Tom.

My acceleration-related rattles come from the secret compartment and the satnav/speedo. The secret compartment offers your basic low-ish pitched plastic-on-plastic noise and can be modulated to some extent by applying gentle pressure to the lid of the compartment; the speedo adds a high metal-on-metal/plastic noise and must be somewhere inside the dash since no amount of pressure seems to calm it down. But neither bother me as much as when I got it. I'll probably get the noises sorted in the new year.

Got my storage rattle fixed too with a visit to the local dealership. It seems to be one of the well known faults.
