Have you got a squeaky sound coming from the dashboard area?

I got mine fixed by the dealer, they removed the windscreen, then refitted it again. This also worked on a friends mini.

this is a hit or a miss at the best of times, and in most cases the car will come back to you worse than it went in !!

it takes these trained mechanics ( and I use this term loosely ) all their time to do a basic service on your car without messing it up, so imagine what they are like stripping out your dashboard !!

I had a few rattles with my cooper, but I just learned to live with them, but it certainly makes me think twice before I'd fork out 22K for a JCW !!

shame..................

I did, the exhaust note drowns out any rattles

I have discovered exactly this problem in my 57 plate mini cooper D - can you tell me how you managed to solve the fault? It vibrates at 1500rpm but only when driving. I can't find anything when I stick my head under the bonnet. I would appreciate any help you can offer. p robinson - probinson@warkscol.ac.uk

I'd leave rattles/buzzing well alone. Most of the time you can live with them quite easily, and the dealers would only make the matters worse and/or scratch something!

Always ready for a MINI adventure!

Mine is getting a new evaporator (Aircon) part will take 2 days to fit hopefully sort out dash rattle on my MCS. There was a rear rattle turned out to be grease needed on set latches.
