alarm and boot problems!

Hi,
Aplogies if this is in the wrong place - new to all this!

Wondering if anybody can help. I have a 04 mini cooper convertible that I have had for over 18 months - unfortunatly no longer in warrenty.

Recently my boot light seems to be coming on even if I go over the smallest bump - and sometimes just when I'm driving along. The boot never actually comes open but the light seems to be on more and more.

Now my problems have just got worse. The alarm keeps going off at all hours both day and niight - at least twice a day. I am parking it in the same place each night that I always have with no problems. My neighbours aren't too impressed! It hasn't been raining and I haven't got anything in the car that could be seeting it off.

Has anybody any idea if this can be fixed and how much if I take it to Mini?

Also is there a way in the meantime I can lock it without activating the alarm and I will put it in the garage? It has a key with 3 buttins on it - one to unlock, one to unlock the boot and I press the mini sign in the middle to lock it normally.
