Warning lights

Wonder if anyone else has this problem..... whenever i go for a hearty drive my warning lights come on all too often. The first is the red one (the handbrake symbol) it makes a beep and appears on the large part of the speedo, then a few seconds later it beeps again and the traction control symbol comes on. I've turned the traction off and this does stop beeping but the red one still comes up.

The thing is a while ago i told the dealer about this as the manual said it needs more brake fluid. The dealer also checked everything else and said it is fine "it is how it should be".

Secondly, i have suddenly got a loud 'whistling' noise coming from the front of the car. Either through the windscreen or through the air vents, it is very loud and very noticeable. This only ever happens when i go above 80mph though. Could there be a hole in the screen

edit: forgot to add that i have reset the tire thingy-magig so this cannot be a problem with the traction light.

Can't help you with the warning lights but the whistling is something that sounds familiar! Talk to Gristy because what you're describing sounds like something he had with his MCS.

It's a Mini Adventure.
