| Is this a cause for concern? Hi, Take a look at the pictures below, is this normal? i.e. oil build up? Out of interest, it has been using a fair bit of oil, but no other tell tail signs of any leakage anywhere, any ideas? Thanks, Dave |

| This was an issue mentioned on the totalmini website. The poster said that there is a fault with the turbo pipe to the rocker cover which caused an oil leak on the top of the engine. After reading the post I looked at my Nov.06 MCS and saw the same problem. So I took it to the dealer who replaced the pipe under warranty. Apparently it is a known problem and the pipe has been redesigned. I wondered at the time why there had not been more posts on this issue. |
