door opening when driving - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi

Don't know yet if this is a one off, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I was driving along yesterday was i heard the window drop, like when you open the door. The dash board beaped & the symbol came up to say the door was open & when i looked the door was open, when i stopped it took a few goes of pulling the handle to actually open the door wide.

Yup, happened to me on a drive upto Scotland, scared the life out of me! Has only done it the once, hopefully never again.

Mine did it in a drive through - just flew open randomly... Luckily there was nothing to hit
