Sat Nav - Australia - MINI Cooper Forum

Is there anyone on the forums that has Sat Nav?

At some point in the last 18 months my onboard Sat Nav has decided to no longer list any street names in the CBD of Melbourne. I have been told by BMW that this is acceptable and is not a problem with the Sat Nav system. I'm not convinced that this is "normal" and would like to find someone to take a snap shot of their screen when the CBD of Melbourne is displayed so I can compare. BMW have insisted for the last 18 months that this is the same for everyone.

Please take a look at the images below, and tell me what you think.

The car is still under warrantee but BMW are not interested.

Can anyone please help?

Tell BMW, what use is a sat nav of it doesn't list the street names??

Just checked mine... at 200m zoom, street names are listed, but at 100m, only a couple are listed. Will try to get a screen shot soon.

Pretty average pics, but they showed some of the streets name. Hope it helps.
