cooper d non starter

hi! bit of a long shot but has anyone had trouble starting an r 56 diesel after a front end skirmish? got a uk clubman here that had a relatively light frontal, no bags. check engine light is on. turns over fine.some earths on front leg damaged but repaired.fuses,relays all appear fine.can bring fuel to pump with hand primer but no pressure in rail. please any ideas(any fuel cutout?) before i have to trailer it to french bm dealerscheers. p.s car has been standing for months through winter!
