| Mine was the PLASTIC timing chain guides caused by the timing chain tensioner (that had already been replaced about 5000k earlier), I had to fight my dealer to have it fixed under warranty, as my car was 8 days out of warranty, long story short after contacting MINI Australia they replaced the timing chain tensioner, timing chain guides, timing chain and dip stick all under warranty. When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane. |
