Black Cooper Moisture inside doors - windows smearing on inside

Hello. I have an R56 and I have a really tedious problem with the windows/doors. Moisture from the rain is being retained inside the door recess and the windows are being smeared with damp on the inside when you have wound them down and up again - this happens even a while after the weather has dried out. Mini seem unable to fix the problem - they keep water testing the car and then saying its fine, but then within a day or so, the problem's back.

Any helpful advice?

Many thanks

Make sure the drain holes are free from debree, remove the door panels to ensure the door membrane is in good condition. Make sure there isnt any greasy cleaning agents on the seals. Also check for leaks anywhere in the car as this will cause condensation, even if its in the boot. Do the windows function properly, do they rise when the door is shut and is the door adjusted correct, that its not sticking out proud of the rear panel so causing the window not to sit on its seal enough, also the condition of the seals are to be checked....check the drain in the engine bay where the blower intake is to make sure the moisture isnt coming through the vent, this can be blocked by keaves or any such debree...

Moisture

Are you sure its not your heater core? It will cause the same problem in cars and if the leak is small enough not even puddle up on the floor. The moisture in the ducts puts a nice even oily film on the inside glass.

Agree with the heater matrix, do you notice a smell through the vents, thats a good sign that its leaking
