Scotland R56 Mini Windscreen Washer Reservoir Problem

Hi folks,

First posting, so hopefully in the right place and proper protocols being followed

I have a problem with my Mini Cooper (Built Dec 2006) which I think is classed as R56?

A couple of months ago when I was filling up the windscreen washer reservoir tank with some ready to use windscreen cleaning fluid, the cardboard piece that is on the inside of the cap of the fluid went straight down the reservoir. It was dark at the time! Unfortunately there was no way of being able to get it out even by filling up the reservoir and hoping it would float to the top. I thought that it would just eventually degrade and wouldn't be a problem. The reservoir has been refilled four or five times since then without any issues. However on the last fill when it was empty the washers are all still working but the front now seems to only be coming out at about half the force it originally did.

Can anyone offer any comments/advice on this and what would be the best way to proceed.

Thanks in advance folks.

Stucam
