 Amber emission light fix -may help someone Hi all, My amber emission light came on about a month ago - I booked it in to MINI to get it fault checked (which was going to cost £95) but I also mentioned the fault to a friend at work (I work for a car company) and he suggested it could just be a build up of carbon (which would make sense) and that I should try turning my engine on and off again a few times - I turned it on and let it idle for about 5 seconds, then off and then twice more and hey presto light has gone out and stayed out - anyway, thought I would share in case it saves someone £95!  |
