| Fuel consumption on mini one late 2002
Hi guys,
I had another post on here regarding repairs to our mini one but thought I would start a new post regarding our fuel consumption.
Well basically it turns out if we are correct then we got 120 miles out a full tank of fuel, now we might be slightly out but not by 100 miles or so! Maybe 20 either way as the battery terminal came off and zeroed the miles!
My mechanic has told me that it's 100% not a fuel leak and there is also no signs of the engine running rough or abnormal in any way, we thought maybe fuel gauge but after the garage tonight I went to fill again and managed to put 40l in what I assume is a 50l tank? And it was between empty and a quarter.
Is this normal? Please understand neither me or my partner is heavy footed and sit about 60-65 on the motorway.
