United-Kingdom 3 oil leaks + more/ new car

Hi, Year ago I bought Cooper Clubman 1.6, ex-demo with 3K on the clock and since done 10K. All was fine until 4 months ago.
1st oil leak.. whining sound from the belt + drops of oil on the driveway. The seal at the back of the engine gone, oil contaminated the belt the belt contaminated the wheel and so on. All done under warranty. 2 days off the road.
Then bonnet release broke+ handle!!! Sounds simple to fix but not on modern cars.... they had to break in from passenger side to fix. No spare parts avail. 2 days off the road.
2nd oil leak... This time sump gasket gone. Fixed in a day.
Week later..
3rd oil leak.... car is being fixed now, it`s another seal. This one has some cables running thru it and it`s a big job of 4 hours. I belive sump has to be removed, the one they just fixed. 2 days off the road and no car. Whatever next. Luckily I have 16 months of warranty left.
Silly question: how many seals are there on R56 engine?
Should I complain? Change dealership?
Love the car
Many thanks

you'd actually think they were causing the oil leaks to give them warranty work !!

United-Kingdom OIl Leaks from the Oil Pump

Recently identified a "known" fault. Oil leaks from a small grommet, which is part of the Oil pump harness. This has been going on for 3 years & BMW/Mini have not yet come up with a successful corrective action.
They have put a 100% inspection in place at there engine plant in Birmingham UK, where each oil pump gets pressure tested. If no leaks are identified, then it is good to go onto an engine.
In reality a number of the faulty ones are still finding there way onto new vehicles.
Mini's answer is to apply some mastic type adhesive to the grommet. They say this will hold out for the "warranty life" of the vehicle.......
It costs £190 to replace the oil pump, but I believe its an engine out job.

Affects mini one, from 2010 model year build on..

Oh yeah, if questioned they deny this. But I work there & was unfortunate enough to buy a new mini one
