R56 Dead

Hi all, My girlfriend returned home yesterday afternoon saying her mini is making a strange noise, I assumed it was going to be the usual knocking sound,
But it was making a very load screaming noise. I rushed it into Stevenage mini last night for them to take a look. They rang me today saying that the timing chain was knackered along with the turbo... I'm waiting for them to get back to me with regards to a price. He reconds it's going to be about £2000-£3000, hopefully mini will cover most of the cost...
Any comments would be much appreciated
It's a cooper s 2009, with 40,000 miles and my girlfriend drives like an old woman..

Im still waiting on response from dealer, I rang them a few times with regards the rattle on start up but was told to top up the oil and even it was a normal sound for this type of engine...
