Unhappy Squeaking Noise from back / boot of Mini Roadster

Thought I should share this in case more people have this problem:
Just got my new Mini Roadster back from the dealer after only a few weeks driving. The problem was that on bumpy roads (and we have lots of em in Ireland ) an annoying squeaking noise was heard from the back of the car or the boot. First I thought it must be the roof with all the joints, etc.
However, it turned out that it was the boot closing mechanism. When the boot closes a distance screw of the boot is pressing on a rubber piece. That screw was wrongly adjusted in production and was wearing off the rubber until iron on iron was causing the squeaking noise when driving on bumpy roads.
This should not happen to such an expensive car, right??!!???!!

Agreed - this is not a Hyundai or Kia for crying out loud.
