Mini one - tapping nosie, timing chain?

The gf mini one (1.4 petrol) has developed a loud tapping noise which you can hear when you are driving.

A couple of weeks ago we had topped up the oil as it was low and garage asked if we had an oil leak, which we haven't.

Anyway, drove 600 miles in last week, checked the oil about 400 miles and it was fine.

A tapping noise which can be heard best down by the drivers side wheel.

see this video below, i start off with the camera by the wheel where you can hear the tapping noise quite clearly and then pan to the engine when you can hear the 'standard' sort of ticking noise and then pan back down to the wheel...have a listen!

I am no expert but that sounds like a rotating part like a belt for example , with that car on a ramp a mechanic would easily be able to diagnose it.
