Oil Change

Does anyone know, when a timing chain is changed, should the oil be changed at the same time? Or, can the job be done with oil in the sump?

Thanks
D

Hi ya

It's good practic to change the oil and filter at the same time.
Some places do some dont but I always do after any major work wether it needs it or not.
For the extra work and piece of mind it's worth it.
You only need a bit of old gasket of timing chain guide or chain etc and you could be back to square one

Hope this helps
