Right, they've called again.

The DPF additive bottle has split and that is the fluid that is leaking. Does that sound feasible?

I don't yet know how it is cracked, or how it may have happened.

Could be a can of spilt Coca Cola by the kids then, rotting its way through the floor?
Ive heard about the leaking DPF additive here before, youre not the first to have it happen.

Yep indeed feasible. So the Eolys fluid is sticky and orange. Interesting. I'm surprised it's leaking from the front of the car as I believe the actual reservoir is in the back by the fuel tank.

Can you localize where, exactly, it's leaking up front?

The car is parked on a slight downhill so that would explain it I guess. During the snowy days we parked the car the other way round on one occasion and the leaky fluid was at the rear. So it's all stacking up.

The leak won't be caused by any Coca Cola, drinks other than water are banned from the car!

Any word on the repair as to how long it will take and ballpark figure?

Any explanation as to how it started leaking?

£370 for a new bottle + labour. Much cheaper than if BMW/Mini did the work I'm guessing...

It was £850 for the new clutch, and £370 for the DPF container job.

Got to love cars =)
