Recommend a garage Bristol- Turbo broken

Had my DPF removed, remapped in November, since then the car has lost power. Its gone back to the same place where it was remapped, they have put a new EGR valve in it but its still not got any power, hes done some digging and found out my turbo is completely shattered and I need a new one.
He has said I can try and look for prices elsewhere but I dont want to walk into another garage and they decide it needs a load more work doing to it when it doesnt need it.
Does anybody in the Bristol area know any garages that are good with minis and are as trustworthy as garages go?
This bloody mini is costing me a fortune!!!

Before you do anything, you need to find out why the turbo failed. Was it oil starvation or ingestion of foreign object?

If the former, then you can't simply throw a new turbo in there, it will fail again. The cause of oil starvation in the 1.6PSA diesels is due to blockage of the turbo oil feed line as a result of oil sludge in the pan (you have religiously changed the oil, haven't you?). That means the pan has to come off and be cleaned and the filter gauze for the oil feed line has to be replaced. In addition, the oil feed line has to be replaced as well.

There is a procedure for replacement of turbos that have failed due to oil starvation on the Cooper D's. I suggest you google it and make sure that whoever does the work follows it to the letter when they replace the turbocharger on that car.

Good luck!
