Engine light (O2 sensor code)

Engine warning light came on last week however mini (07) is running really well. Code P2626 (O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit/Open). Garage replaced the O2 sensor (bosche). Ten days later the light came back on with the same code.
Taking into consideration the mini is running really well and it's just had a new O2 sensor any advice would be welcome..........
Thanks.

You probably have condensation on the connector. They made the stupid mistake of positioning the connector vertically, next to the oil dipstick. So water can get through the wires in the connector. Open it and clean it with WD40 (it displaces water) and see if it helps. I think for the light to go away you need to start and shut down the car a couple of times. If you have a scantool then just delete it and see if it comes back.
