Iv had my car a while now and to be honest i loved it. Im starting to get a bit annoyed with it now with little problems arising.
1. I had a new battery on the car and no when i unlock my cars the boot doesn't open. Before i could unlock my car and the passenger and driver door would open also my boot would so i could just press the button on the boot and it would open.
Now this doesn't happen and i have to press the boot button on my fob. Can anyone help?
2. I have a slight squeak in the engine? Loose fan belt or alternator belt??
3. When i press the button to open my window both, passenger and driver side will fully open. Although when i press the button up for the same to happen fully shut. only the driver side will. I have to hold the passenger side button up for it to shut fully.. Would i need to reprogram or is some broke??
Other than i still want to make alterations to my car and make it look even better than what it does now. But i don't wanna spend money on cosmetics and increasing BHP if small problems are going to cost me money. Any information and help would be appreciated so much......
I am jumping to number 2. I had an intermittent squeal that was caused by the water pump which was replaced. Both water pumps were replaced but I think it is the main water pump that was squealing.
Once you roll up the passenger side window continue to hold the switch in the up position for a few seconds, which should reset the auto up.
I've got a 2009 R56 and both my windows go up fully with one touch. The only thing is that I do them individually. I'll tap the up on one window and immediately do the same on the other so they both go up automatically. If I try to be clever and do both up at exactly the same time, I inevitably mess one up and have to do them individually anyway. But that's 'cos I use one hand. Fingers not long enough to reach both switches properly. :-)
