Mini Cooper S Turbo air inlet

So the pipe which supplies the turbo with air came off recently, having cleaned the little bits of oil and buying a new clip, i re-attached it. The pipe seems to have worked its way off again. Someone else made a thread about an orange seal which i have found online. My question is all the models that have this seem to be diesel models. Is the petrol version meant to have one? Mine doesn't and i cant see the part on this

Just been for a fairly long drive. Pipe seems to have stayed in place. Ordered the part just to be safe. If it doesn't fit, no biggie, wasn't much. Better to be safe than sorry. Thanks for your reply!
