Dead Battery Issues? - MINI Cooper Forum

We have a 2004 "S" and the battery just went dead!?

Charging system is fine,Radio died a few months back but don't think that would be a related problem. It turns on/lights up but no sound/audio?

Any other electrical isssues we can check?

How old is the battery - I doubt it's 2004 but it's not impossible. Any continual drain on battery - poss from dead radio? You say charging is fine - are you getting 14-odd volts when engine revving somewhere above tickover? Whats the battery voltage in it's dead state?
