hi i have a cooper d r56 59 plate there seems to be a smell in the cabin not all the time ,,, have replaced the cabin filter still there ,,its an diesel--exhausty type of smell cant see any leaks from the engine any help ,,,thanks
It's a big job. Have to remove the front of the car and all the heat shielding around the turbo and DPF to access. It also depends on which seal is leaking - either the pre or post cat seal. The repair procedure is different for each one.
You'll have to figure out where the leak is coming from first.
