Mini Cooper 2007 Stall

Hi there

I've just bought a 2007 mini cooper and it seems to stall when I stop at traffic lights? the start/stop light comes up on the rev counter.

It's cold this morning so I wondered if it's that.

Also, there's a button with an A in a circle - whats that?

Thanks for any help!

What .... and starts again when you engage gear to drive off? It's supposed to do that! Auto stop start is an economy measure fitted to some MINI's. I don't have it (as it's an Auto) but I understand you can switch the funtion on/off using the 'A' button you described. Check out the user manual.
