Does anyone know how to stop the overhead console in a 2007 MCS rattling? (where the map reading lights/switches are housed) I'm sure it could be solved fairly simply, but i'm not sure how to go about it - or even to remove it!
Its a really annoying vibration thats almost constant while I'm driving, and sometimes I dont want music on!
I've searched the forums but can't find any info on this.
It might sound strange, but do you have a pano roof? I thought our overhead console was rattling for weeks .... before I realised the sun blind on the pano roof had not located properly and was generating a rattle in the area of the switches!! A quick opening and closing of the sun blind cured all!!
No sorry I should have said mine's a hardtop, no sunroof etc. Its definitely the console cos if I hold my finger on it, the vibration stops. Unfortunately this isnt the best of driving positions!
