I'm sure this topic has cropped up several times, but once more won't hurt, right?
I drive a 2008 MCS
with 33k miles on the clock.
Its recently developed a problem where the over heating light comes on after only a mile or 2 (my commute to work is only 3 miles). This is obviously not enough time for the engine to warm up properly, let alone overheat. Once I turn the engine off , the fan stays on for like 10 minutes.
I've checked the oil and radiator are topped up and both seem fine, is there anything else it could be before i take it to the dealer?
My main concern is that on sunday I have to drive to my parents for the holidays, its a 120 miles journey. Do you think it would be safe to drive if I can't get to a dealer before then?
