Looking for some info/advice about (re) starting my R56 Cooper S
- certainly nothing in the handbook that makes much sense anyhow!
Been using the car recently with no problems until this aft.
Stopped/turned of the engine and sat in car park happily listening to the radio. (with key fob out)
Overran the 'time-out' period for the radio, so inserted key fob and went to start the engine. - Nothing!! - just a couple of 'clicks', warning light, - and......
airbag/belt tensioner indicator illuminated.
Went through every 'procedure'. - key fob out/in, lock/re-lock, set/re-set alarm, got out/in, clutch depress, etc, etc.
Anyways. Must have done something cos the engine started up and have had no problem since!
Any ideas much appreciated. - can't really afford to have this happen again if I'm away from home.
